1. Overview
This website is operated by Privé Noir (“we”, “us”, “our”), a couture atelier based in Doha, Qatar. By visiting our site, placing an order, or booking an appointment with us, you agree to the terms set out below. Please read them before you order.
2. Our pieces
Every Privé Noir piece is made to order in our Doha atelier. Because each garment is cut and finished by hand after you order it, small variations in embroidery placement, fabric fall, and hand-work are inherent to the craft and are not defects.
Fabric, colour, and trim are photographed as accurately as we can manage, but screens differ. If exact colour matters to you, ask us for a swatch before ordering.
3. Made to order and lead times
Standard lead time is 15–20 working days from the date your order and measurements are confirmed. Pieces requiring extended hand embroidery may take longer; where that applies we will tell you before we begin.
Lead times are estimates given in good faith, not guarantees. Public holidays, fabric delays from our suppliers, and the Ramadan and Eid seasons can extend them. We will keep you informed.
4. Measurements and fit
For made-to-measure pieces, you are responsible for the accuracy of the measurements you give us, whether taken at a fitting, during a home visit, or provided by you directly. We cut to the measurements recorded on your order.
We offer complimentary fittings by appointment inside Qatar. We strongly recommend one before we cut.
5. Prices and payment
All prices are in Qatari Riyals (QAR) and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Prices may change at any time before an order is confirmed; once we confirm your order, the price on that order is fixed.
Deposit. For made-to-measure pieces, and for any piece with a customisation you have requested, we take a deposit of 50% of the order value before production begins. The balance is payable before your piece is dispatched or handed over. Production does not begin until the deposit has been received and your measurements confirmed.
If you cancel. Before cutting begins, your deposit is refunded in full. Once cutting has begun, the deposit is non-refundable — the fabric has been cut to your measurements and cannot be returned to stock or sold to anyone else.
6. Exchanges and returns
Made-to-measure pieces cannot be returned or exchanged, as they are cut to your individual measurements and cannot be resold.
Standard-size pieces may be exchanged within 7 days of receipt, provided the piece is unworn, unaltered, with its original tags and packaging intact. Exchanges must be confirmed with us before the piece is sent back; pieces returned without prior confirmation will not be accepted.
Where the fault is ours — a damaged piece, the wrong piece, a size that does not match what was recorded on your order, or execution that departs from the agreed specification — we will collect the piece and remake or repair it at no cost to you.
Collection. Inside Qatar, our driver collects the piece from you. A collection charge applies and depends on your area; we confirm the amount with you when we arrange the pickup. Where the fault is ours, collection and redelivery are free of charge. Outside Qatar, return shipping is arranged and paid by you.

7. Care
Our pieces use delicate fabrics, hand embroidery, beadwork, and lace. Dry clean only. Damage caused by home washing, machine washing, ironing over embroidery, or improper storage is not covered by any remake or repair.
8. Home service and appointments
We offer complimentary home visits and private fittings by appointment inside Qatar. Appointments are held at the time agreed; we ask that you give us reasonable notice if you need to reschedule. We reserve the right to decline or discontinue home service at our discretion.
9. Shipping and delivery
Delivery terms, areas, and costs are set out in our Shipping Policy. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery. Where delivery is made to an address you provided, delivery to that address discharges our obligation.
10. Your account and information
If you create an account, you are responsible for keeping your login details confidential and for activity under your account. How we handle your personal information is set out in our Privacy Policy.
11. Our content
All designs, photographs, text, and other content on this site belong to Privé Noir or our licensors and are protected by copyright and design rights. You may not reproduce, copy, or use them commercially without our written permission. Our designs may not be copied or manufactured by third parties.
12. Accuracy of the site
We do our best to keep the site accurate and current, but we do not warrant that it is free of errors or omissions. Where information on the site is out of date, we are under no obligation to update it except as required by law. We may change or withdraw products, prices, and content at any time without notice.
13. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version published on this page at the moment you place your order is the version that applies to that order.
15. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Qatar, and any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Qatar.
